Recently I posted about the top 10 popular blogs in internet and it turned out that most of the blogs were related to technology updates and industry gossips. Now lets turn to India for the top ten technology blog. Indiblogger is one of the directory of blogs in India and according to it these are the Top 10 blogs in India.

We can see that the traffic from the search is very high for FoneArena whereas its very low for SciTech Journal and Sramana Mitra. If we see the content of these blogs then you will find out that FoneArena has very optimised article in sense that its more related to waht people usually search in internet – for good mobiles. The blog is guide for everyone as it deals with the overall aspect of mobile. In similar sense even WinVistaClub has a reasonably high percentage as it deals with the tips and tricks in Vista which every windows user need.

On the other hand, SciTech Journal is all about the general science and research which majority of people are not really into. This analysis shows how the content of the blog is so important for it to be visible in the search engine.

The above chart shows that traffic from UK is very low than that from US. FoneArena and India PR has the majority of traffic from India because these blogs are highly targeted to Indian Audience. We can see that WinVista has an equal traffic from India and US as it’s target audience is independent of the origin. Similarly you can see the same pattern in other blogs.

Conclusion

The most important thing in the blog is the content and the target audience. If you have defined these parameters clearly in your blog then its easier for the readers to associate themselves with it. But if you want to compete in the world market than we have to create a content targeting to major world population. The above statistics show that even a blog like Pointy Haired Dilbert can have higher traffic from US then India due to its content. Another example is the SciTech Journal which is for all the people related to science and technology.

Blogs in technology has a higher market in Blogging as everyone wants to be touch with the latest gadget or latest discovery in the technology
